• Specificity

  Detects mouse Frizzled-1 in direct ELISAs and human and mouse Frizzled?1 in Western blots. In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-2, -3, -4, -6, -7, and -8 is observed. Using flow cytometry, detected Frizzled-1 on differentiated embryoid bodies derived from mouse embryonic cell line D3 and on human HEK293 cells.

Preparation and Storage

• Reconstitution

  Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

• Shipping

  The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.

• Stability & Storage

  Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.    

• 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 °C as supplied.

Background: Frizzled-1

Frizzled-1 belongs to the frizzled family of 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt proteins. Frizzled-1 is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and is involved in cell differentiation, embryonal development and tumorigenesis.
